ACLS COURSE

REQUIREMENTS:

1. You must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association to take this course or be able to demonstrate High-quality BLS.
2. American Heart Association Requires each Student to have a Textbook in class to take this course.
3. ECG and Pharmacology courses are not taught in ACLS classes. Therefore, consider ECG and Pharmacology Pre-course if you are not confident in these skills.
4. Students registered for Initial Certification are required to pick up books BEFORE the class date and take the Pre-Course Assessment

*Please wear comfortable clothes and covered-toe shoes. You will practice skills that require kneeling, bending, standing.

ACLS Heartscode: $95

This is the Hands-on session or Part Two of the AHA ACLS Heartscode. The Valid AHA online ACLS completion certificate is required. AHA ACLS Online Access Code can be purchased with this registration American Heart Association ACLS Online Completion Certificate Required. No ACLS Textbook Required for the Skills Only portion of the ACLS Online Course.

BLS COURSE

REQUIREMENTS:

1. The American Heart Association requires that student manuals are available to student prior to, during and after BLS Provider and BLS Renewal courses. Students can pick up the textbooks at our location or we can mail them to you at an additional cost of $9.99 via USPS.
2. The BLS Provider instructor-led course teaches both single-rescuer and team based basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments. The BLS Provider course is the standard training for healthcare providers and first responders. Students who successfully complete this course will be awarded a two-year certification as a BLS Provider.
3. You must have a current/expired BLS card from the American Heart Association to take the recertification course or be able to demonstrate High-quality BLS.

HeartCode BLS Skills Session:

HeartCode BLS is the blended learning course for the traditional BLS Provider course. Each student will complete an online self-paced course, followed by a hands-on skills session with an instructor.

HeartCode BLS meets the “BLS Provider” requirement for most healthcare agencies and educational institutions. Students who successfully complete this course will be awarded a two-year certification as a BLS Provider.

BLS Renewal Course

The BLS renewal course is intended for students who possess a current, unexpired BLS Provider certification. This is an instructor-led course designed for healthcare providers and first responders to review CPR and AED use skills in a healthcare setting. Students who successfully complete this course will be awarded a two-year certification as a BLS Provider.
The American Heart Association requires that student manuals are available to student prior to, during and after BLS Provider and BLS Renewal courses. Students have the option to purchase the student manual in the registration portal or through a third-party vendor.
The American Heart Association has changed the name of the course to BLS Provider to accommodate students outside of the healthcare industry.
HeartCode BLS is a blended learning course. Students will complete an online session, followed by an in-person practice and evaluation. The BLS Provider course is the instructor-led course provided at our training location. Both courses are awarded the BLS Provider certification.
